About Me

My photo
I am currently enrolled as a junior at the University of South Alabama. I am earning my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. As educators, we should focus on future generations to ensure that they succeed to the best of their abilities. In order to achieve this goal, educators must be willing to constantly learn and motivate their students to use new forms of technology inside and outside of the classroom. Educators must be self-motivated lifelong learners. As future generations go through school, the use of technology will become mandatory in schools. It is our job as educators to lead our students in their use of technology so that they can better themselves and their educations. We are not going back in time, so educators need to put down the pen and paper and pick up their computers. My ultimate goal is to equip my students with the knowledge and tools necessary to raise the bar in education with the technology generations.

Vocaroo

Vocaroo is a very useful tool that can be extremely valuable to students, teachers, parents, and other people in every day situations. Vocaroo is a tool that allows voice recording for blog posts, social networks, and emails. Students can use Vocaroo to record comments for other students blogs. Elementary students will especially love this feature of Vocaroo. Sometimes text emails can be misinterpreted or misread to be sarcastic or mean when a person is truly joking. With Vocaroo, this eliminates the question of whether the person was being sincere or not. I cannot wait to use Vocaroo through Facebook and emails.
