About Me

My photo
I am currently enrolled as a junior at the University of South Alabama. I am earning my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. As educators, we should focus on future generations to ensure that they succeed to the best of their abilities. In order to achieve this goal, educators must be willing to constantly learn and motivate their students to use new forms of technology inside and outside of the classroom. Educators must be self-motivated lifelong learners. As future generations go through school, the use of technology will become mandatory in schools. It is our job as educators to lead our students in their use of technology so that they can better themselves and their educations. We are not going back in time, so educators need to put down the pen and paper and pick up their computers. My ultimate goal is to equip my students with the knowledge and tools necessary to raise the bar in education with the technology generations.

ScreenJelly

Screenjelly is a unique program that is completely java-based and records activity on your computer screen. It allows you to make a recording and send that recording via Facebook, Twitter, or email. Screenjelly is for any and every one who wants to quickly share information or anything they just find neat on their computers. ScreenJelly limits a video to three minutes because it is not meant to create an entire well-detailed tutorial. If someone would like to create a video longer than three minutes, they could use ScreenToaster, which is from the same creators as Screenjelly.
